Recipe: Tastefully Olive's Olive Oil Cake Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt 3 large eggs

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup Tastefully Olive extra virgin olive oil

1/2 cup whole milk Zest of 1 lemon

Zest of 1 orange 1 tsp vanilla extract

 

Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt cak pan. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. In another bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until they become pale and creamy. Slowly drizzle in the Tastefully Olive extra virgin olive oil while continuing to mix. This will create a luscious, smooth batter. Add the milk, lemon zest, orange zest, and vanilla extract to the wet mixture. Stir until well combined. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until the batter is smooth and free of lumps. Pour the batter into your prepared cake pan. Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool in the pan for about 15 minutes, then remove it from the pan and allow it to cool completely on a wire rack.
